Welcome to Oakville Soccer Club
OSC is the largest community soccer organization in Canada with more than 12,000 players, coached by over 900 volunteer and professional coaches. The Club is based at its 100,000 square foot indoor soccer facility at Pine Glen Road in North Oakville and carries the Gold Standard Award for Club Excellence from the Ontario Soccer Association.
Advancing Every Player
OSC's Five-Year Strategic Plan, adopted in 2011, is built around the principle of ensuring that each individual player in the Club be given the opportunity to advance his or her soccer and life skills. As such, the Club's Technical Development Plan features genuinely player centric program design, with investment in player development rather than focusing on individual game results, winning trophies and on-pitch accolades.
Coaching
Home to one of the largest professional coaching staffs in Canada, OSC employs 25 professional coaches with more than 250 years experience combined, including nine former national team members and 13 former professional players.These coaches are responsible for the Advanced Development Program and Rep Teams, as well as helping to train and mentor the volunteer coaches in the House League Program.
Referees
OSC's offers a Referee Program which focuses on Long Term Officials' Development goals and meets the requirements for staffing games throughout the course of a year.
History
The Club’s tradition of excellence includes eight national championships, 55 Ontario Cup winners and a large number of players selected to represent Canada at the international level. Several hundred OSC players have also earned scholarships with universities and colleges in Canada and the United States.
House League
More than 900 teams with members ages U4 to 35 and up comprise OSC’s House League. With 50 minute sessions each week, House League participants can play against other club member teams and enjoy playing soccer.
