The Oakville Soccer Club is pleased to announce two additions to the Club's growing list of Advanced Development and Rep Development Program female coaches, Victoria Miliucci and Chelsea Spencer.
The Oakville Soccer Club is focused on providing a positive soccer experience to all players, and is dedicated to expanding the female game by providing players with positive role models and female coaches to learn from. The additions of Miliucci and Spencer to the coaching staff of the Oakville Soccer Club will bring a strong female presence to the ADP and RDP programs and give female players the opportunity to identify with their coaches while growing in the sport of soccer.
Miliucci, born and raised in Oakville, is an OSC alumni who holds a Provincial B Coaching Licence and brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the table. After playing for OSC and in the Ontario Provincial Program, Victoria played for Florida International University and helped the NCAA Division 1 team achieve several accolades while completing a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education.
Miliucci went on to become the Assistant Coach for the University of British Columbia's Women's Soccer team and the Assistant Coach for the Saint Mary's University Women's Soccer team, and has completed her Master of Kinesiology in Coaching Science at UBC as well as her Bachelor of Education degree from Brock University. Miliucci has coached in several OSC programs in the past including ADP, RDP, ODP, Finishing School, Li'l Oscars and Summer Camps, and is pleased to return back home to OSC to further expand her coaching career.
Spencer is a certified C License trained coach and is very knowledgeable with OSC's programs thanks to her previous coaching experience with the Club. Chelsea has worked with OSC's ADP and RDP programs as a head coach, and has lead the teams she has worked with to a great deal of success as well as league promotions.
Spencer is also a certified Mentor for the Coaches Association of Ontario, and is passionate about empowering females, supporting new female coaches and increasing the participation of females in sport. As a player, Spencer has played for Team Ontario and Team Canada while also attending NCAA Division 1 schools, the University of Louisville and Niagara University on a full scholarship. Spencer played semi-professionally for the Toronto Lady Lynx and Hamilton FC Rage, and played in the FA Women's Premier League in England.
"Oakville Soccer Club is extremely delighted to have two female coaches of Victoria and Chelsea’s pedigree," says OSC Senior Technical Director Chris Grierson. "Their qualifications and experience are a tremendous asset to the Club and we believe that their presence and influence will benefit the female player at OSC."
