2013 Summer Coaches and Conveners Needed

The Oakville Soccer Club is currently seeking volunteer coaches for the 2013 Summer season. Previous coaching experience is not required. All coaches must attend a two-hour House League Coach Orientation Session and adults coaching the U8-U18 divisions must submit proof of a valid Police Check . If you do not have a valid police check, one is required prior to the start of the season.  

It is expected that the OSC coaches will adhere to the ‘Fair Play Code for Coaches’ at all times. OSC Announces ADP and Rep Coaches for 2012/2013 Season

Oakville Soccer Club is pleased to announce the 2012/2013 Advanced Development Program and Rep Program coaches.

Carefully selected by Technical Director Dino Lopez and Coach Development Manager Rafael Carbajal, this impressive group of coaches brings a high level of skill, experience and knowledge to OSC that will greatly benefit all players enrolled in these programs.

Physical Literacy Coaching Brochures

OSA have created a series of brochures in the form of mini-pamphlets that walk coaches through four of the key physical literacy stages of Long-Term Player Development (LTPD). Each of these resources provide very basic but helpful information through Active Starts, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train and Soccer for Life for volunteer coaches.

OSC Announces New Professional Coaching Staff

Oakville Soccer Club, Canada’s largest community soccer organization, named its full complement of coaches today. The staff of 24 joins Technical Director Jason de Vos and Coach Development Manager Rafael Carbajal in rounding out the team for its strategic plan “Advancing Every Player.” Coach appointments are for a two-year term for the 2012 and 2013 outdoor seasons and winter training. The technical development group includes 13 former professional soccer players, nine former national team members and accounts for more than 250 years of coaching experience.
