OSC is pleased to announce that Technical Director Jason de Vos has been named the 2011 Person of the Year by Canadian Soccer News!
Jason was selected for a variety of reasons, including his memorable contributions to the Canadian national team – who can forget his header goal to put Canada ahead in the 2000 Gold Cup final?
But more importantly, according to Canadian Soccer News, Jason was selected for his ongoing commitment to the game at the grassroots level since his retirement, showing unwavering commitment to youth development and changing the way Canadians think about soccer.
OSC is honoured to have such a highly regarded athlete and advocate for the game on staff at the club. Congratulations Jason!
