OSC is offering free Coaches' Technical Discussions to all House League and Rep coaches. Led by Coach Development Manager Rafael Carbajal and Staff Coaches Chris Grierson and Ian Sinclair, each session will cover a different topic. Please see the list below for dates. All discussions will take place from 8 pm to 10 pm in the Community Room at Pine Glen Soccer Centre.

Physical Literacy Coaching Brochures

OSA have created a series of brochures in the form of mini-pamphlets that walk coaches through four of the key physical literacy stages of Long-Term Player Development (LTPD). Each of these resources provide very basic but helpful information through Active Starts, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train and Soccer for Life for volunteer coaches.

OSC Announces New Professional Coaching Staff

Oakville Soccer Club, Canada’s largest community soccer organization, named its full complement of coaches today. The staff of 24 joins Technical Director Jason de Vos and Coach Development Manager Rafael Carbajal in rounding out the team for its strategic plan “Advancing Every Player.” Coach appointments are for a two-year term for the 2012 and 2013 outdoor seasons and winter training. The technical development group includes 13 former professional soccer players, nine former national team members and accounts for more than 250 years of coaching experience.
