Referee Bonuses

15 Game Bonus

All Referees completing 15 games in the middle (referee) will receive a bonus of $25.00.

25 Game Bonus

All Referees completing 25 games in the middle (referee) will receive an additional bonus of $50.00

Adult Game Bonus

In recognition of the commitment of Senior Referees to our Adult leagues senior Referees (21+) completing a total of 10 adult games in the middle will receive an additional performance bonus of $75.00.  

All Bonus payments must be claimed on the appropriate Claim Form

Referee Pay Sheets

A friendly reminder that referee pay sheets can be filled out and submitted online in lieu of printing the form and handing it in manually.

OSC is encouraging all referees to use the online option as it is quicker, easier, more efficient and more environmentally friendly for everyone!

Important Referee Information

Indoor Soccer

We are now assigning both Adult and Youth Indoor Soccer. Irena Jelecanin is looking after this for us and can be contacted at 905-849-4436 – Ext 4448 or email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Please note that there are only a limited number of games available for the youth programs, all on the weekends. We will do our best to distribute these fairly. With regard to adult games, Referees will be assigned based upon their ability to handle various levels of play and again this will be done as fair as possible.

Games must run on time and it is the responsibility of the referee to ensure that games to not encroach into the next time frame.

2011 Outdoor Fees Closed

We will not be accepting any pay claims for outdoor soccer after October 31. Pay sheets for summer games will be returned to you with a note confirming that the submission was received late.


Referee Training Programs

Register as soon as possible as spaces are filling up fast. The schedule and registration form is available by clicking here.

The following programs will be offered:

Entry Level – Minimum age 14 years as of April 1 2012 (16 hour program)

Mini Soccer – Minimum age 12 years as of April 1 2012 (6 hour program)

Note: March Mini-Level session is sold out.


Jewellery Update

All Referees must enforce the no jewellery rule. The following items are not allowed.

• Bracelets (includes cloth and rubber bands)
• Watches
• Rings
• Necklaces
• Hair Clips
• Studs (Nose,Lip,Eyebrow etc)
• Dreadlocks must be tied back
• Hairbands

In the event that wedding bands cannot be removed we will allow taping as the only exception.

Medic-Alert Bracelets are allowed but must be taped.

Equipment Issues

Eye glasses are allowed, however they must be secured at the back. Sport safety glasses are allowed.

Protective approved headgear is allowed.

Note: Religious head covering is allowed for both male and female players

Note: Spandex undershorts must match the color of player shorts
