OSC Boys U16 B win SRSL Premier League

The Oakville Soccer Club boys U16 B team, playing in the Premier division of the South Region Soccer League, has captured the division League Championship with a 12-3-3 record. This will allow them to be promoted to the Elite division for the 2012 season.
The improvement in how the team played was noticeable in being able to win critical games despite a season of on-going injuries. The boys’ level of intensity and effort increased significantly this year with a more balanced possession style play that entertained parents and spectators alike.
Chris Bogias, team captain who led the team with 16 goals said “I am very proud of how our team played and fought back and pulled through in tough game scenarios. We came to every game ready to play.”

Members of the team are: Chris Bogias, Keiran Stevenson, Sean Delacourt, Oliver Kearns, Scott Mackie, Troy Morneau, Scott Birkbeck, Michael Sahai, Augie Habesch, Charles Paco, Michael Panza, Stefan Robinson, Salim Zanzana, Connor de Bakker, Jan Bockers, Jimmy Gogos, Alberto Montes and keeper Sebastian Sciarra. Coach of the team is Nick Bogias, assisted by Paul Delacourt and Tim Kearns and manager Lori Stevenson.
