Please be advised that the OSC has an agreement with a very small group of corporate partners to provide them with category exclusivity. Category exclusivity means that they are the only recognized sponsors of the Club in their respective industry.
We are asking teams to refrain from getting sponsorships from their competitors as this would be in violation of the OSC’s existing agreement with these corporations.
A list of major competitors that are currently offside as of February 2010 has been provided below but is by no means exhaustive. If you are unsure as to whether a particular company is allowed, please send an email to Joy Neefs at

Category – coffee/baked goods/lunch and breakfast
Competitors include: McDonalds, Wendy’s, Second Cup, Starbucks, Subway, Taco Bell.
Exempt: Cob’s Bread, Artisano’s Café, Cupid’s Gourmet Cupcakes
Jack Astor’s/Alice Fazooli’s
Category – Full service dining
Competitors include: Shoeless Joe’s, Kelsey’s, East Side Marios, Olive Press, etc.
Exempt: Palermo Pub
Pizza Pizza
Category - Pizza restaurant
Competitors include: Pizza Nova, Boston Pizza, etc.

Other Exemptions: Please note that if a competing company wishes to make a financial donation to a rep team without receiving any recognition (i.e. team website mention, logo on equipment, etc.) that is allowed.
Story Submissions to the Media
We would love to have you tell your stories about your games or tournaments.
Here are the submission guidelines:
Length of story: Less than 350 words
Format: Please send your submission as an attachment to your email as well as in the body of your email. Formats must be one of the following: .pdf, .psd, .jpg, .tiff. Any Windows specific formats cannot be used as the files are viewed on Macintosh systems of our local newspapers.
Photographs: If you are attaching a photo, please make sure it is 166 minimum dpi at 5” width
(bigger is better). Include a title and a caption and please list the names of all the people in the photo from left to right.
