Oakville GU18 Elite team graduate with style as they go undefeated through their final season, win the SRSL League, League Cup and the Mississauga International Invitational Tournament.

The 2010 Oakville Soccer Club’s U18 Elite Girls finished a fantastic final year of youth soccer this past week by going undefeated in the South Region Soccer League (SRSL) U18 Elite Division with a record of 13 wins 0 losses and 1 tie. The girl’s scored goals  (53 GF) and were stingy on defense (6 GA) in 14 league games.

The OSC will be fielding Rep teams in the U11 (2000) to U18 (1993) age groups. 

For the U12 (1999) to U18 (1993) teams, players who are interested in trying out for one of these teams are to complete the Application to Tryout form which will be posted on the OSC website under Rep news as of September 8, 2010. These completed applications will be assessed by the Technical Director and will be passed along to the applicable Rep coaches/teams. The rep coaches will then contact the players and invitations to attend training sessions will be issued.

The deadline to have these applications into the club will be October 11, 2010. The dates for the U12 to U18 tryouts will be announced after October 11, 2010 and will take place at River Oaks.

OSC’s GU10 Academy B and C-teams played off against each other in South Region Soccer League (SRSL) 1st/2nd Division League Cup final this past Sunday (August 21st) in Caledon.

The Oakville Soccer Club would like to invite applications from all current and new coaches who are interested in Coaching within the OSC REP program for the 2010/2011 soccer season.

Oakville Soccer Club’s Technical Director, Brett Mosen, has resigned from his position with immediate effect.

During his six years with the Club, Mosen built a strong technical program and initiated the Club’s Academy program, as well as its open development programs and the development of the Club’s House League.

Congratulations to OSC member and U18 Rep player, Jeremy De Souza who was recently awarded a scholarship from the South Region Soccer League (SRSL). Scholarships from the SRSL recognize those individuals who best exemplify the spirit of fair play, who possess the ability to balance both academic and athletic success, and who display leadership skills on and off the field, in the pursuit of excellence.

Jeremy will be attending Wilfrid Laurier University for business this fall.
