Oakville Soccer Club

Dino Lopez (Technical Director/Head of Junior ADP) 

Dino became Technical Director during the summer of 2012, but is a familiar face at OSC. He has been coaching at the Club for seven years and last season coached the Girls 1994A Team to an Ontario Cup Championship. A former member of the Canadian Men’s National Team, Dino played professionally in Canada and the US including the Montreal Impact, London Lazers, Toronto Blizzard, and Milwaukee Rampage. He holds a USSF National A Coaching Licence and has a BA in Economics from York University.

Eddy Berdusco – With 20 international caps for the Canadian National Team to his credit, Eddy is a familiar name at OSC. He coached in the ADP program last year and is a former Oakville Academy coach. He also has passed his OSA Pre-B Assessment.

Michele Houchen – Michele returns to coach ADP for a second year. A former Women’s Canadian National Team member, Michele was inducted into the Oakville Sports Hall of Fame in 2007. She was a player/coach for the Oakville Panthers World Women’s Master Championship team in 2005 and was named the OYSL Coach of the Year. Michele served as the former OSC Girls Academy Director and holds her Provincial B License.

Steven Killeen – Steven returns to the ADP program for a second year. He holds a CSA National B License and has coached in the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. A former OSC Academy coach, he played in the UK at the university level.

Heather MacDougall - An NCAA player at St. Bonaventure, Heather is a two-time Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team selection. She continued her career as a member of the Hamilton Avalanche. A 2011 ADP coach, McDougall is a former OSC Academy Staff member and holds her Provincial B License. 

Igor Prostran - Igor coached in the ADP program in its first year after serving as a former OSC Academy coach. He has both local and international playing experience for Borac Cacak FC (Serbia), the Toronto Lynx and the Oakville Blue Devils. He holds an OSA Provincial B License and is an OSA Licensed Instructor.

Rocco Rago - Rocco coached in OSC’s Open Development Program in 2011. He has played for teams in Italy in Serie C2 and Serie D. Rocco has passed his Pre-B Assessment.

Rafael Carbajal (Coach Development Manager/Head of Senior ADP)

Rafael joined OSC with 20 years of coaching and coach development experience in Canada and internationally. A former goalkeeper from Uruguay, he holds UEFA A and USSF A coaching licenses. Rafael has held head coaching positions with Milltown FC, Serbia White Eagles, North York Astros,  AC Milan Soccer Academy in Canada as well as Faenza Calcio in Italy. Rafael has served as an assistant coach and goalkeeper coach with the Canadian Women’s National Team,  as well as the Men’s U18 and U20 squads. Most recently he helped coach the Men’s U23 team during Olympic Qualifiers.

John Bothelo - The Director of BST Academy  from 2007-2012 and the Technical Director at Alliston Soccer Club from 2007-2009, John played in Brazil for Botafoga Youth. He coached three Ontario Cup Championship Teams and two USA National Champions. John holds a USA National Youth License, USSF National C License and has passed his OSA Pre-B Assessment.

Laurentiu Muntean - Larry played professional soccer in his native Romania before playing for Lakers in Premier Open Age BSL and Poli Toronto.  A former district and regional referee, Larry has passed his Pre-B Assessment. Larry coached the Boys U11B team last season.

Karim Nour - Karim won the national college soccer cup as head coach of the Alexandria Sports Education men's soccer program and was named the Coach of the year at the National Coaching Conference in 2010. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Education and a Master’s Certification in Football Coaching Leadership. Karim is a Regional Referee and has passed his OSA Pre-B Assessment. Nour played in both the CSL and at the college level.

Alan Vukobrad  - Alan coached the U14B team in 2011 at OSC. He has previously coached the Dinamo Brampton and NCSC Livno in the SRSL as well as served as the Head Coach of Toronto Croatia in the CSL. For five seasons, he played in the professional second division in Croatia for NH Mladost. Alan has completed his OSA Pre-B Assessment and has applied to begin work on his National B license.

Mark Worton - Mark played professionally in the CSL. He has coached at OSC for 10 years, six at the Rep level. He holds a CSA National B License, USSF B license and is an OSA Licensed Instructor. Last year he coached the Boys U17A team to the Disney Soccer Showcase championship.
