OSC Rep Development is the club’s competitive soccer program for top talent between the ages of U11 to U18.
Under the guidelines of the club’s Technical Development Plan and the Canadian Soccer Association’s Long Term Player Development Framework. Former Technical Director and former men’s national team captain, Jason de Vos has restructured OSC’s Rep program to include all-inclusive skills training and competitive play.
Unlike other Rep programs, OSC is focused on the overall development of every player in the program instead of strictly winning trophies. Advancing every player – helping each child reach their unique potential – is the main goal of the Rep Development Program and the club overall.
During the winter months, players of the same age train together with top level coaches at indoor facilities such as the Pine Glen Soccer Centre and have the option of participating in additional strength and conditioning and futsal. Rosters for the A, B and C teams (where applicable) are named before competitive game play with other clubs in the area begins in the spring.
Players must try out in order to be admitted to the Rep Development Program – tryouts are open to everyone and are held annually at the end of summer.
