OSC Player to Participate in Canadian Transplant Games

The Oakville Soccer Club is proud to announce that Eamon O'Brien, a member of OSC's Boys U12 ADP program, will be participating in the Canadian Transplant Games this August in Toronto!

Eamon, a kidney transplant recipient at only 18 months old, will showcase his athleticism in the 1K road race, 50-metre dash, long jump, 5K cycling and 25-metre swim events at the Games. This will be his second time participating in the Games. The first time was at 6 years old in Quebec City where he won 5 medals - 1 gold, two silver and two bronze in long jump, 100m dash, 25m swim, 50m dash and shot put (respectively).

The Canadian Transplant Games, started in 2000, have been a showcase for transplant recipients from across the country to enjoy competition and camaraderie while celebrating a second chance at life.
Everyone at OSC wishes Eamon the best of luck at the games this year!
