OSC Coach Szabi Bozsoky Achieves UEFA 'A' License

The Oakville Soccer Club is proud to congratulate OSC Coach Szabi Bozsoky on his successful completion of the UEFA 'A' coaching diploma course!

Szabi has received his UEFA 'A' License through the Romanian Football Federation. Requirements to complete this course and achieve this licence included 90 hours of theory units off the pitch and a minimum of 90 hours of practical units completed on the pitch including work experience and study visits.

The UEFA 'A' License is one of the most respected coaching badges in football and is a very comprehensive qualification taken by relatively few coaches every year. This License is aimed at coaches who work with, or wish to progress to, 11 v. 11 football in a professional/semi-professional or elite contexts as this diploma course seeks to cover many aspects of high level coaching in considerable depth.

The UEFA 'A' License is the newest addition to Szabi's already long list of licences and achiements including:

  • Canadian National 'B' License (Canada Soccer Association, 2015)
  • UEFA 'B' License (Romanian Football Federation, 2006)
  • National Football (Soccer) Coach License (Government of Romania - National Coach Training Centre - Ministry of Youth and Sport, 2002)
  • International Teacher Certificate / Phys. Ed. Sport & Health - UNESCO
  • Bachelor's Degree - Physical Education & Sport / Teacher Education, 2001
