Oakville, ON - The Oakville Soccer Club is proud to announce that OSC Coach Adrianna Krencil has been selected to participate in Ontario Soccer's Female Mentorship Program. Krencil has coached with OSC for two and a half years and is currently the Assistant Coach for the Girls U13 and Girls U14 OPDL teams.
Mentees in the program must be working toward their Provincial B and National B coaching licenses. The Female Mentorship Program is designed to develop senior female coaches, who in turn will act as educators and mentors to other female coaches who wish to further develop and progress their coaching careers. The mentorship program is part of a holistic support system approach to enabling promising coaches across the province to reach their full coaching potential in the sport. Six female coaches were selected from across the province to take part in this one-on-one coach development opportunity and are selected based on their experience, potential and the recommendations supporting their application.
Annually Ontario Soccer seeks applications for Mentee Coaches. The mentee coaches must be working toward the Provincial B and National B coaching licenses. The six coaches are selected based on their experience, potential, and the recommendations supporting their application.
The selected applicants will be developed in the Ontario Soccer mentoring program under the guidance of the Ontario Soccer Coach Development Team and the Female Head Mentor coach, Connie Marshall.
"To be selected to be one of only six female coaches from Ontario, and to be mentored by Connie Marshall is a wonderful opportunity for Adrianna. Connie is a fantastic mentor and I am sure Adrianna will come away from the experience a better coach and continue to be a positive role model for players," said Chris Grierson, OSC's Senior Technical Director of Krencil's selection to the program.
The Oakville Soccer Club is very proud to have Adrianna as a part of the Club's coaching staff and wishes her all the very best through this 9-month process.
