OSC Announces New Executive Director

The Board of Directors of the Oakville Soccer Club (OSC) is delighted to announce that Katryna Indewey is OSC’s new Executive Director (ED) effective May 17, 2021. Katryna emerged from a highly competitive selection process and becomes the first female OSC Executive Director.

Katryna joined OSC seven years ago as the Manager of Marketing & Communications and progressed to the level of Director on the leadership team. Since September 2020, Katryna has served as Senior Acting Director of OSC to provide interim leadership until the appointment of a new ED.

As Senior Acting Director, Katryna has been instrumental in the planning, contingency planning and pivots required by OSC’s leadership team to navigate the various restrictions relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. Katryna has worked tirelessly during this time with stakeholders, including OSC members, staff and volunteers, the Town of Oakville, soccer governance bodies, sponsors, suppliers and community organizations.

Katryna is a key liaison for OSC with regional soccer clubs, Ontario Soccer, Peel-Halton Soccer Association and Canada Soccer Association. She is a marketing and communications leader, both behind the scenes for OSC, and as a regular presenter, moderator and guest speaker on soccer-related issues on various platforms.

Katryna and the OSC staff team have played a crucial role in recent recognition and accomplishments, including three Ontario Soccer Gold Club Excellence Awards and the Canada Soccer National Youth Soccer Club Licence. She brings the insight of an insider and the fresh vision of a new leader on how OSC can continue to create a positive soccer experience and contribute to the Oakville and soccer communities.

We thank all stakeholders for their continuing unwavering support of the Oakville Soccer Club, especially in the circumstances of the last year, and look forward to working with Katryna in the years ahead. Please join us in congratulating Katryna on her new role as OSC Executive Director.
