Development Programs Manager

The Oakville Soccer Club is inviting applications for the position of Development Program Manager. If you are passionate about soccer, player development and coach development then this is the role for you.

Reporting to the Senior Technical Director, you will oversee all development programs within the Club including the OSC Skill Centre Program for players ages U8-U12 (formerly known as ADP/Advanced Development Program) and the Club’s Individual Development Programs. This will include assisting players with the transition from U12 to U13. This role will involve program curriculum design, communications, organizing, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluating.

The position requires a clear understanding of Long-Term Player Development and is deal for someone seeking an opportunity to learn and grow your skill set while gaining experience in an industry you are passionate about.

The ideal candidate must be a self starter with the ability to multi-task and understand the importance of deadlines and details. They must be passionate about soccer and growing the game, have had experience in program design and management.

Program Administrator

The Oakville Soccer Club is inviting applications for the position of Program Administrator.

This role will assist all OSC competitive, development and recreational programs with administrative and Club registrar duties. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy a fast-paced environment, have the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines, and have strong customer service skills, this is an ideal position for you.

Facility & Adult League Manager

The Oakville Soccer Club is inviting applications for the position of Facility & Adult League Manager.

This role will over-see the day-to-day facility usage of the Pine Glen Soccer Centre (home of the Oakville Soccer Club) and administer OSC’s Indoor and Outdoor Adult League programs.  The Pine Glen Soccer Centre is a hub of activity throughout the year, hosting OSC’s Youth and Adult Indoor recreational leagues, OPDL, Development and Competitive team training as well as providing space for community rentals and events.

Active Start Facilitator

The Oakville Soccer Club is inviting applications for Active Start Program Facilitators for the 2021 Fall Indoor House League season.

OSC's Active Start Program provides the youngest players in soccer with the opportunity to develop their physical literacy skills such as running, jumping, kicking and changing direction. These skills are developed through fun, play-based activities lead by a certified OSC Active Start Facilitator along with the volunteer coach of the team. The aim of the Active Start program is to allow players to become comfortable with the sport of soccer in a setting that is built around fun and positive reinforcement.

This is a fantastic part-time role for students, players and all soccer lovers!

 Li'l Oscars Facilitator

The Oakville Soccer Club is inviting applications for Li'l Oscars Program Facilitators for the 2021 Fall Indoor seaon.

Li’l Oscars is a parented program that OSC has developed for participants ages 2-4. Using the principles of physical literacy, this program is designed to shape our future sports stars through active play-based activities that will develop coordination skills, listening skills and basic motor skills. Li’l Oscar Facilitators will lead a fun and engaging 45-minute session each week that will help participants develop fundamental movement and social skills. 

This is a fantastic part-time role for students, players and all soccer lovers!

Skill Development Program Staff Coach

The Oakville Soccer Club is inviting applications for Skill Development Program Staff Coaches for the 2021 Fall Indoor season.

OSC's Skill Development Program allows players at all ages and stages the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills across the 4 corners of the Long-Term Player Development Model. All sessions are created to develop the individual in various technical and tactical skill sets that are optimal to the players point of development.

This is a fantastic part-time role for experienced soccer players and coaches!

PGSC Facility Staff

The Oakville Soccer Club is inviting applications for Pine Glen Soccer Centre Facility Staff.

This part-time position is the welcoming face of PGSC and Oakville Soccer Club programs! Facility staff are responsible for preparing fields and rooms for programs and rentals, providing customer service during operational hours and ensuring the facility remains clean and safe for all participants. Applicants must be available evenings and weekends and be available to work 15-20 hours each week.

P.A. Day Camp Coach

The Oakville Soccer Club is inviting applications for P.A. Day Soccer Camp Coaches. If you are passionate about soccer, physical literacy and working with children then this is the role for you.

OSC’s P.A. Day Soccer Camps are designed to provide campers of all soccer skill levels with a day of soccer games, activities, and the opportunity to meet new friends in a fun, play-based environment. Please note that this is not an elite camp. Coaches are expected to be responsible, supportive, engaging and outgoing to ensure that campers are having fun while being safe at all times.
