First Place Finish for OSC's U15B Girls at Gaels Cup!

In early July, OSC's Girls U15B team hit the road to Kingston to participate in the Gaels Cup (formerly the Ambassador Cup).

In the round-robin stage the girls took on teams from Quebec, Ottawa and Cornwall and went undefeated with 6 goals for and only 1 against in the extreme heat and humidity. The girls took on a tough team from Saint Lazare, Quebec in the semi-final and won 2-0.

In the final, the opponent Lakeshore SC from Kirkland, Quebec took a quick lead, but OSC was able to tie it up before the half. A long shot from the midfield found the net late in the second half and OSC took the championship!

Congratulations to all players for a fantastic tournament! Congratulations to coaches and team officials, and thank you to all parents for their support!
