Oakville Wild's Boys U14B Team Take Championship in Pennsylvania

In early May, OSC's Boys U14B team hit the road to head to Reading, Pennsylvania to participate in the 2018 Reading Rage Soccer Tournament.

In the first game, the Wild achieved a win against Boyertown United. They boys found themselves challenged in game two but were able to achieve a 4-2 win over Reading Rage. After a strong victory against Western Lehigh United in game three, OSC's boys headed to the finals and met up with Reading Rage once again. 

As soon as the first whistle blew, the boys hit the turf with determination and played hard until the final whistle, winning the final 3-0 and taking first place.

Congratulations to all players, coaches, team officals and parents on a fanastic tournament. Way to go, Wild!

Oakville Wild's Girls U16A Team Takes Top Spot at First on the Turf

OSC's Girls U16A team headed to Guelph on May 4th to participate in the 2018 First on the Turf Tournament. 

After three flawless wins in the group stage (2-0 against Woolwich, 4-0 against Oakridge and 2-0 against Flamborough) the girls advanced to the semi-final against Georgetown. After a tough battle, the girls prevailed 4-3 in penalty kicks, taking the 2-1 victory and heading to the final. With momentum from previous wins, the girls took a wild 5-0 victory against Dixie, becoming the U16 champions.

Congratulations to all players, coaches, team officials and parents! What a way to start off the season! Keep it up, ladies!

Oakville Wild Boys U14 OPDL Team Win First on the Turf Tournament

OSC's Boys U14 OPDL team celebrated the upcoming summer season with two fantastic showings at tournaments in the month of April.

After a strong showing and second place finish at the Wesley Clover Cup in Kanata on April 21st and 22nd, the boys headed to the First on the Turf tournament in Guelph on April 27th - 29th with a first place finish in mind.

Undefeated in their first three games, OSC advanced to the semi-finals against fellow Wild players from OSC's Boys U14C team and beat out their comrades to advance to the finals against Rockwood FC. After a strong 4-0 finish, OSC achieved their goal and took the championship in their age group.

Oakville Wild Girls U15 OPDL Team Finishes 2nd at Ontario Futsal Cup

Congratulations to the Oakville Wild's Girls U15 OPDL team on a fantastic showing at the Ontario Futsal Cup this past weekend! 

The girls played up an age group in the U16 division. With three wins and one loss in the preliminary round on Saturday, they advanced to the final on Sunday where, after a tough battle, the girls lost to Caledon FC 5-3 and finished in second place.

A WILD shout-out to these amazing young ladies for representing OSC so well! We're very proud of you and look forward to your upcoming successes this summer!

Oakville Wild GU18 Team Tops 2018 Invitational Cup

The Oakville Wild's Girls U18 team finished first this past weekend at the 2018 Invitational Cup at Players Paradise in Stoney Creek, Ontario.

The team topped the Girls U17/U18 division after a 1-1 draw against the Ancaster Titans, a 2-1 win over NorWest Lightning, a 2-1 win over Milton Magic and a 1-0 victory in the final against Vaughan Azzuri.

Wild's GU14C Team Cap Off Fantastic Season With Tournament Win

The Oakville Wild's Girls U14C team added to their already impressive season with a championship win at the HEADS Up! Cup on September 24th.

After two wins in the opening round (4-0 and 3-0), the girls headed to the semi-final game against Darlington where they kept their momentum with another 3-0 win. In the extreme heat, the girls took the field in the final against Guelph and finished their clean sheet tournament streak with a 2-0 win to become the tournament champions.

This tournament win was the icing on the cake of a fantastic summer season for these young ladies. 

The girls were finalists in the League Cup, with wins against North Mississauga, Clarkson and Mississauga Croatia before taking a tough 1-0 loss to Milton in the final game.

With a 9 win, 4 loss and 3 draw record for the season, the girls beat Mississauga Croatia in the final becoming the 2017 PHDL First Division Champions. With 44 goals for and only 19 against for the whole season, the girls finished with a differential of +25 - more than double the next best differential.
