Match Official Education

The Oakville Soccer Club and Ontario Soccer are pleased to announce that the 2022 Match Official Accreditation for Entry Level, Small Sided Clinics and Game Leader programs will be opening for registration in the coming weeks.

For 2022, the Match Official education process is continuing with an updated online self- learning model.

Highlights of the new system include:

  • Online Payment for Small Sided and Entry Level programs
  • Clinics will no longer have a minimum or maximum number of participants.
  • Increased flexibility with self-guided online modules which can be completed at the student’s own pace
  • Students are only required to attend one webinar of their choice.
  • Ability to attend any optional open topic webinars and education sessions which will run weekly in April/May
  • 4 hour practical session included at a convenient location for Small Sided and Entry Level programs
  • Online Game Leader program can be completed exclusively online

This is a great opportunity to both increase your knowledge of the game as well as develop key skills that will help you in the future.

We encourage coaches and players of all age groups to participate in the program of your choice. Our ultimate goal is to continue to improve the overall experience for players, coaches and parents.
