Program Modification (if required)

If in the event government mandates do not allow for game play at any point throughout the season, sessions to be adjusted to ensure distance is maintained and all mandates are met. Don’t worry - there will be lots of fun to be had for all participants!

As players begin to develop a greater physical literacy competency at this age, sessions will be designed push players to be consistent with their movements both with and without the ball. There will be a continued focus for players to master the ball individually, while also developing other aspects of the game including passing, receiving, and shooting. To foster the competitive spirit players will be involved in challenges and competitions within groups and as individuals. While players may have to remain distanced, playing with teammates and friends is a key component of the program so interactive drills while remaining a safely apart will be implemented.

Please note that currently players are not required to wear masks while in play. OSC will adhere to mandates in place during the season.
