*All games will have a 7:00pm start time but will start at 6:30pm in the month of August due to earlier sunsets.  

Players per team: 

18-20

Session Length:               

 90-minute games (2 x 45-minute halves)

Game Format:

11v11 including goalkeeper

Gender-specific divisions (i.e. girls will play with/against girls, boys will play with/against boys)

Officiating Format: 

Scores and Standings will be recorded. Games officiated by an OSC Referee.

Equipment Included:

Team jersey, shorts, socks

Equipment Required: 

Shin pads are mandatory

Either running shoes or soccer cleats may be worn.

Additional Program Offering for U15 & U16 Players - OSC's Skill Development Program (SDP)!

Is your player eager to get on the pitch this summer? Are they always looking for more practice time?

OSC has the perfect program for them that will fit alongside their House League registration! OSC's Skill Development Program allows players to hone their skills weekly in a group setting with an OSC Staff Coach. Each session will focus on the development of individual skills (ex. footwork, passing, shooting) as players work through a curriculum developed by OSC's Technical Staff. Each SDP session will also end with a short small-sided scrimmage within the player's designated group.

OSC recommends SDP as an addition to the Summer Outdoor House League program, as it allows players to work on individual skills in SDP, and then apply them in a game setting during their House League sessions.

The registration deadline for the 2023 Youth Summer Outdoor Season is Tuesday, May 9th, 2023. 

Refund Deadline

The refund request deadline for all House League, Skill Development Program and Li’l Oscars age group is May 9th, 2023.

All refund requests are subject to a $35 administrative fee.
To request a refund, please email info@oakvillesoccer.ca for the correct form.

Refund requests, including requests for credits, will not be accepted under any circumstance not outlined in OSC’s Refund Policy after May 9, 2023. 

Registrations are not eligible for a refund or credit due to schedule conflicts or friend requests that are unable to be fulfilled by the Club.

Friend Requests:

Please note that the friend request deadline for the upcoming Summer Season has passed. 

Out of Town Fee:
Please be advised that all registrants that reside outside of the town of Oakville will be required to pay an out-of-town residency fee of $10.00.

U12 Learn to Train
SUMMER OUTDOOR PROGRAM

Learn to train while continuing to fall in love with the game!

OSC's Learn to Train program is a fun-filled journey where players can learn from the game itself and improve their skills. With the guidance of OSC Volunteer Coaches and a curriculum crafted by licensed OSC Staff, players will embark on weekly adventures of warm-up activities and gameplay.

The focus of this level is to give players the freedom to unleash their creativity on the field, work as a team, communicate and solve problems together; all while having a blast playing the beautiful game. Players will also develop essential social, emotional, and physical skills that will serve them well in all aspects of life.

U7 FUNdamentals
SUMMER OUTDOOR PROGRAM

Don’t miss out on a Summer Season of FUNdamentals with OSC!

Under the guidance of OSC's Technical Staff, players will participate in a curriculum that blends the core principles of Canada Soccer with fun and engaging activities. Each week, players will warm up and work on their skills before playing in a game component that lets them put their newfound knowledge into action.

Program Objective:

Introductory Level: The most important focus at this age is the continued development of physical literacy and the recognition that individual technique/development is paramount. Coaches in this stage will create a learning environment that is stimulating and engaging, thus allowing players to learn in a fun-filled small-sized game environment.

Roles of the Coach, Facilitator and Parent:

Facilitator: In the U7 age group, the OSC facilitator works with the players to develop their physical literacy skills during the warm-up and weekly activities.  These skills include running, jumping, kicking, dribbling, and changing direction. The facilitator, along with help from the team’s volunteer coach, also leads the weekly small-sided 3v3 game where they implement simplified rules and ensure player safety.

Coach: In the U7 age group, the team coach plays an important part in ensuring the youth soccer players are supported. The coach is the liaison between the Club and the parents, with their main duties off the field include picking up and distributing items (i.e., uniforms, sponsorship material, etc.) for the team as well as sending emails to ensure all players are aware of important dates. As there is an OSC Facilitator leading the program, the responsibility of the volunteer coach is to simply support and encourage the players through the activities. The coach will also manage the substitutions for the 3v3 game.

Parent: A parent/guardian must be present at each session.

Session Plan: 

U7* 5-minute warm-up, 10-minute skill based activity, 30-minute small-sided game.

Please note: there are gender-specific divisions and no officiating/score keeping at this age. Parents are encouraged to participate with young players.

What does Your Player Need?

Mandatory Equipment: Shin pads.

Provided by OSC: Jersey, Socks, Shorts & Ball - 1 of each per player.
