OSC’s Skill Development Program focuses on the development of players using a structured long-term approach. This method is based around the principles of LTPD (Long Term Player Development), and is aligned with Canada Soccer’s guiding principles. SDP is available for ages U7 (2016) - U13 (2010).
The main focus of the Skill Development Program is to provide all players with lots of time of the ball. Each session will be include “game realistic” components, and capture the four moments of the game, allowing the players to showcase their skills and problem solve.
SDP curriculum will be created by licensed OSC Technical staff and follow age and stage appropriate guidelines. At the end of the program, players will receive a written evaluation, based on their progress throughout the program and recommendations on how to proceed in their soccer journey.
