Becoming a Volunteer House League Coach

Have You Considered Coaching Youth House League Soccer?

OSC House League coaches are all volunteers. As a volunteer at OSC, you are provided with a coach’s tool kit that will ensure that you, along with your team, have a soccer season that is both fun and enjoyable! Coaches must fill out a volunteer application form and are highly encouraged to attend the Coach Education Workshops that OSC hosts. Coaches must be 15 years of age or older. Any coach under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian at all times (the guardian’s information must be listed on the application form). A current Vulnerable Sector Screening is required for coaches who are 18 years of age or older. The Screening is valid for two years.

A Coach's child will automatically be placed on their team and the coach will also receive one additional player request. If the coach has an assistant coach, their child will count as the coach's additional player request.

No formal soccer or coaching experience is necessary to volunteer in the House League Program! All volunteer coaches require to get involved is a positive attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
