The Oakville Soccer Club recognizes that the cost of programming can be a barrier to a child participating in sport and wants to ensure our members are informed of the OSC and community resources available to qualified applicants. Below is a list of options for members to explore.
OSC’s Fee Assistance Program
The Oakville Soccer Club’s Fee Assistance Program is in place to ensure that all youth in the Town of Oakville have the opportunity to participate in OSC’s soccer programs. OSC will provide fee assistance to qualified applicants for most Club programs. Fee Assistance is provided to eligible applicants and is restricted to $400 annually (OSC Fiscal Year – October 1 to September 30) per player for all programs. Only one application needs to be submitted annually.

Outside Grants & Subsidies
Canadian Tire Jumpstart – Individual Child Grant
Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a community-based charity grant that assists children in financial need to participate in sports. These grants cover a multitude of sports and recreation. More information can be found by following the link below.

KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sports programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. More information can be found by following the link below.
OPDL Athlete Scholarship Program
The OPDL athlete scholarship program is open to OPDL players who demonstrate exceptional playing ability, leadership in their community, and commitment to their craft. Grants are determined through the application and eligibility process. More information can be found by following the link below
Their Opportunity
Their Opportunity is a program that serves to educate, uplift and support children to overcome barriers through the strength of sport and generosity. Their program is unique in the fact that it asks those who receive funding through their programs to pay the generosity forward through volunteerism in their community. Click here to learn more.
