2023 Scholarship Program

The Oakville Soccer Club was proud to bring back the Club’s storied Scholarship Program in 2023. In recognition of academic success and the outstanding contributions of individuals to the Oakville Soccer Club and the surrounding community, a total of ten, $1000.00 scholarships were given out to this year’s applicants. This amount brings OSC’s Scholarship Program to well over $100,000.00 gifted since its inception.

We are honoured to present the Oakville Soccer Club Scholarship Class of 2023 and the respective schools and programs they are enrolled in currently:

Olamide Dinah – University College Dublin – Medicine
Kate Faelker – University of Guelph – Biomedical Science
Ethan Kent – McMaster University – Political Science
Théa Koumbridis – Western University – Sociology
Kiara Langendyk – Western University – Business
Madelaine Millar – Western University – Nursing
Liam Morrison – University of Toronto – Mathematics & Physics
Marcus Schers – Mohawk College – Child and Youth Care
John Vergiris – Huron University College – Business Management & Organizational Studies

Katryna Indewey, OSC’s Executive Director, spoke highly of this year’s applicants, “We are so proud of everything these impressive young individuals have accomplished thus far, and are very happy to provide these scholarships to help them in their academic journeys. We have no doubt that they will continue to be fantastic ambassadors for the both the Club and the community of Oakville as a whole. The Oakville Soccer Club family wishes them all the best with their future success!”

2023 saw a highly competitive and impressive applicant group, which deserves recognition in itself for its collective achievements. OSC is overjoyed to have this program back up and running, and is already looking forward to 2024.
