The Oakville Soccer Club is excited to present our Recreational After-School Programming, designed to create a focused training experience that elevates youth soccer development!

OSC’s After-School Programming consists of a Goalkeeper Program and a Striking & Finishing Program. Read more about each program below!

After School Striking & Finishing Program

Winter session

Ages U14-U18

The Oakville Soccer Club’s Striking & Finishing Program is a comprehensive and focused training experience designed to enhance youth soccer skills and overall player development.


Participants will work with experienced coaches covering various aspects of the game, regardless of their skill level. The curriculum progressively builds on existing abilities, fostering a supportive environment where participants can learn, grow, and challenge themselves.


The program’s weekly sessions include skills, games, and individualized attention, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and important life skills. It offers a holistic soccer experience that benefits participants on and off the field, encouraging a love for the sport and confidence in young players.

Additional Program Details

  • Winter Season Length & Dates: 8 Weeks – Wednesday: March 20th – May 8th
  • Location: Oakville Soccer Club – Pine Glen Indoor Soccer Centre – 1520 Pine Glen Rd., Oakville
  • Players per group: 10
  • Coach structure: Staff coaches will run the sessions
  • Parent involvement: No parent involvement is required in this program.
  • Session Length: 55-minute sessions
  • Session Format: Genders will be mixed (i.e., girls and boys will play together); Game, Activity, Game structure.
  • Equipment Required: Shin pads are mandatory, shorts and socks are required, soccer cleats are recommended but running shoes may be worn.
  • Refund Deadline: Refunds will not be issued for the 2024 Striking & Finishing Program after March 6th, 2024. Please click here to view OSC’s Refund Policy.
  • Out of Town Fee: Please be advised that all registrants that reside outside of the town of Oakville will be required to pay an out-of-town residency fee of $10.00.
  • Inclement Weather: While we will make our best efforts to reschedule sessions missed due to inclement weather when possible, no refunds or credits will be given in the event a make up session cannot be provided.

GOALKEEPER PROGRAM

Winter session

Ages U8-U16

Led by certified goalkeeping coaches, The Oakville Soccer Club’s Goal Keeper program is a comprehensive and focused training experience designed to enhance player development.

Players will work with coaches weekly on age-specific skills such as basic movements, proper & safe technique, and goalkeeper essentials that are required to aid in overall player development.

This program is open to any recreational player who is interested in becoming a dedicated goalkeeper or in strengthening their skills.

    • Winter Season Length & Dates: 6 weeks – Feb 5th – March 25th (February 19/March 11 exclusion dates).
    • Location: Oakville Soccer Club – Pine Glen Indoor Soccer Center – 1520 Pine Glen Rd., Oakville
    • Players per group: 10
    • Coach structure: Staff coaches will run the sessions.
    • Parent involvement: No parent involvement is required in this program.
    • Session Length: 55-minute sessions
    • Session Format: Genders will be mixed (i.e., girls and boys will play together)
    • Equipment Required: Bring your own goalie gloves, Shin pads are mandatory, shorts and socks are required, soccer cleats are recommended but running shoes may be worn.
    • Refund Deadline: Refunds will not be issued for the Winter 2024 Goalkeeping Program after January 22nd, 2024.

 

House League Soccer

OSC strongly encourages players registering for our After-School Programming to also enroll in OSC’s Youth House League Program. 

The Youth House League Program provides a team environment where players will get to participate in a full game session with their team for the entirety of the season. 

This weekly game will also provide the opportunity for players to put their newfound skills into action each week throughout the summer, leading to increased retention and development.
