COACH CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
The Oakville Soccer Club is proud to have created the Coach Certification Program!
Created by OSC for Youth House League Coaches, OSC's Coach Certification Program is intended to educate volunteers about expectations from the Club, key formations and rules of the game for various age groups, and to provide coaches with the tools and knowledge they need to be successful in their role. This certification program is free of cost and is available to all registered volunteer coaches!
The Oakville Soccer Club works with over 700 House League Coaches annually, and consistently strives to ensure that each and every one feels comfortable and supported by the Club. Along with the existing support mechanisms the Club currently has in place (Coach Education Workshops, Templates, Coach Mentorship, etc.), OSC's Coach Certification Program will help coaches to expand their knowledge through videos that highlight some of the most important aspects of the game and the experience of the players.
OSC's Coach Certification is made up of several online modules. Each module takes less than 10 minutes to complete and can be done quickly and easily on a computer, phone or tablet. Each module features a short video (earphones or speakers are required) and is followed by a short quiz. Once the quiz is successfully completed, you'll have the opportunity to download and print your certificate.
