OSC's BU15C Team Wins HEADS Up Championship!

In late May, the Oakville BU15C journeyed to the HEADS Cup Tournament for the 3rd year in a row. After being finalists in the tournament last year, they were determined to go one better this year and win the championship.

On a stormy Saturday morning, they played to a 0-0 draw with Bolton B. As the skies cleared on Saturday afternoon, they shone brilliantly in a 3-0 win over Georgetown Mustangs. On Sunday morning, they dispatched FDSC Fusion with a 3-1 win. That put them at the top of the table and they would draw Bolton B again in the final.

After a tense battle and a 1-1 tie after regulation time in teh final, the game went into overtime and still remained deadlocked. In the penalty kick shootout, Oakville held their nerves to convert their first 3 kicks while Bolton missed 2. OSC scored on their fourth shot and wildly celebrated being the HEADS Up Cup Tournament Champions!

Congratulations to all the players for their hard work and sportsmanlike conduct! You represented OSC well! Thank you coaches, team officials and parents for their ongoing support!
